Hi, I'm Katrina

Realizing there are times that are too overwhelming to handle on your own is scary. My approach to psychotherapy is to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment that supports adolescents, families and adults through whatever life circumstance they are struggling with. I encompass a multi modal approach when working with my clients so every unique individual diversity is honored and respected. I draw upon therapeutic modalities that help the individual re-establish a relationship with their lost inner strengths and open new perspectives that foster more self love and compassion. I am compassionate yet also direct and believe in the power of education to help decrease the negative stigma around mental health.

I received my B.A. in Global and International Studies with a Minor in Spanish at University of California, Santa Barbara and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology with Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have professional experience working at Family Service Agency in Santa Barbara/Carpinteria, Santa Barbara City College, and Goleta Union School District. I look forward to connecting with you!
